"One of my favourite questions to as a Bride is... What makes you 'You'?"
First things first...
Your Bridal Makeup Trial
Around 3 months ahead of your Wedding Day it’s time for your Makeup trial. An exciting opportunity for us to meet and for you to try your Wedding Makeup on!
By this point you may have some ideas about the style of your Wedding Makeup but don’t worry if not, that’s what I’m here for! Whether you have your Makeup done all the time or you’ve never had your Makeup done before, please don’t worry – Your Makeup trial is fun, relaxed and collaborative, I will listen to you.
Let’s talk about the Makeup looks you love. Getting to know you and your style is so important to me, this way we can make sure your makeup is beautifully tailored to you. I insist every Bride has a Makeup trial.
At your trial we will begin with a 10-minute consultation to get a good feel for the bridal style you would like me to create. Taking into consideration of your likes and dislikes, your dress, colours, flowers, themes, your hair, hair accessories, your face shape and features and most importantly what will make you happy and give you confidence. You must also tell me as we go through the trial if there is anything you would like to change or do differently, that way we can make it perfect for you. My style is to enhance your features rather than make you look like a completely different person!
Your wedding makeup trial normally lasts around 1.5-2 hours. For your Bridal Makeup Trial Session you are invited to my home studio in the beautiful village of Helsby, Cheshire. I understand in some instances this is not possible and therefore I can provide a mobile service if necessary. On your Wedding Day I will travel to wherever you are getting ready. Trials should be during daylight hours to give you an accurate visual of your makeup. Please tell me about any allergies/medical conditions.
At the end of your trial, once you are completely happy, you’ll have a few photos taken and I will create a detailed face chart for my records. I will email you a suggested time schedule for your big day, to ensure there is plenty of time to recreate your Bridal look.
The Wedding Morning...
How exciting! The big day has arrived! As your wedding makeup specialist, I appreciate you want to look and feel stunning on your wedding day, with as little stress as possible. Consider me an extra pair of hands right until you're ready to leave to say "I do".
I aim to have all makeup finished 45 minutes before you are leaving to go to your ceremony, giving you time to get your dress on and have some photographs taken. I stay with you until you leave for the ceremony for any final touches.
To ensure I am with you 100% of the way, I have a one wedding a day policy so I can spend as much time with you as needed on the morning of your Wedding.
